Head of Underwriting designs credit policy and underwriting frameworks for a private credit fund, leads facility structuring, and mentors junior credit analysts.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Xsolla is seeking a Head of Underwriting to serve as the fundâs senior credit authority alongside the Chief Credit Officer. You will design the underwriting framework from a clean sheet, lead the underwriting and structuring of the fundâs first facilities, and stand in front of LPs as living proof that the fund underwrites to institutional standards.
This is a builderâs mandate. You will codify how this fund underwrites â the credit playbook, standards, templates, and documentation that make the process repeatable and defensible â and, as the team grows, mentor the junior credit hires who operate it.
The role reports directly to Stan Rudoi, Chief Credit Officer and Head of the Xsolla Credit Fund, and sits on the fundâs credit committee.
ABOUT US
Xsolla is a global commerce company with robust tools and services to help developers solve the inherent challenges of the video game industry. From indie to AAA, companies partner with Xsolla to help them fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. Grounded in the belief in the future of video games, Xsolla is resolute in the mission to bring opportunities together, and continually make new resources available to creators. Headquartered and incorporated in Los Angeles, California, Xsolla operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500+ game developers to reach more players and grow their businesses around the world. With more paths to profits and ways to win, developers have all the things needed to enjoy the game.
Beyond its core commerce platform, Xsolla is building a private credit fund that lends to video game studios, underwritten with a data advantage no traditional lender has: Xsollaâs own payments telemetry across thousands of games. The fund is in its capital formation phase and is led by Stan Rudoi, Chief Credit Officer. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help raise a first-time fund inside a profitable, global gaming-commerce company, alongside the broader Xsolla capital markets ecosystem (Xsolla Funding Club, Xsolla SPAC 1 â Nasdaq: XSLLU, and other strategic vehicles).

Prepares tax returns and ensures compliance with U.S. tax regulations for clients or internal operations.
Leads financial strategy, planning, reporting, and operations for a sustainability-focused consumer products company.
Designs and manages sales commission structures, calculations, and payouts while partnering with sales and finance teams to optimize compensation plans.
Chainguard is the trusted source for open source. By delivering hardened, secure, and production-ready builds of all the open source software engineers and AI agents rely on, Chainguard helps organizations build faster, stay compliant, and eliminate risk.
Our customers include Fortune 500 enterprises and global industry leaders, including Anduril, Canva, Fortinet, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, OpenAI, Snap Inc., and Snowflake.
Chainguard is venture-backed by leading investors, including Amplify, IVP, Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed Venture Partners, Mantis VC, Redpoint Ventures, Sequoia Capital, and Spark Capital.
Chainguardâs commission function is largely owned by one person today, and weâre looking to change that. Weâre hiring a Commission Manager to build real redundancy into how we design, calculate, validate, and administer sales compensation.
In this role, youâll partner closely with Sales, Finance, and Partnerships to strengthen our commission structure and prepare it for the next stage of growth. This is not a role where youâll learn commissions on the job. You should already be fluent in commission design, plan mechanics, and payout economics. Our sales organization moves quickly and expects timely, accurate answers.
Youâll own the technical and analytical side of commissions, including calculation, reporting, and payout validation, while also playing an active role in compensation plan design. Youâll advise on accelerators, gates, multipliers, and mega deal structures as we work to bring our commission pay rate down from an aggressive ~50% of net new bookings toward a best in class benchmark of ~20 to 25%.
Youâll also mentor and develop our Senior Financial Analyst as she progresses toward a management track and serve as a key backup who can step in and run the commission function end to end when needed.
This is a foundational hire with a significant runway. Weâre not asking you to build a fully staffed team on day one, but we are asking you to own outcomes, establish scalable processes, and build the infrastructure that will allow the function to grow with the business.
This role is an opportunity to build redundancy, bring deeper commission design expertise to the organization, and become a strategic partner to Sales leadership. Youâll help identify where our compensation plans are too rich, where they arenât driving the right behaviors, and where they need to be redesigned.
As Chainguard continues to scale, the scope and impact of this role will grow with it. For the right person, this is an opportunity to help shape how commissions work across the company and build a function that can scale alongside the business.

About the job
This position will be responsible for working constructively with our customers and partners to resolve billing issues and fraudulent misuse of services.
We are seeking a sharp, highly data-oriented, and tenacious Telecom Billing Specialist to join our team. Unlike a traditional billing or collections role focused on routine outreach or simple invoice review, this position is a hybrid of financial investigation, root cause analysis, and strategic dispute negotiation. In this role, you will look for billing discrepancies, investigate Artificially Inflated Traffic (AIT) or IRSF (International Revenue Share Fraud), dig deep into messaging and call data, project manage high-value customer and vendor disputes, and build data-backed cases to resolve discrepancies. You will build dashboards to communicate key metrics and drive action. If you love solving complex data puzzles, negotiating with external parties, and finding win-win outcomes, this is the role for you.
You will be part of a company that is the category leader in Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), an organization working with the largest customers and partners, and a team of operators and former consultants that have delivered exceptional impact. If you have an extreme owner / founder mindset and a desire to solve big challenges, youâll find yourself at home.
